How does booking work?
Send the inquiry form and I’ll reply within 24 hours. A signed contract and a 20% retainer hold the date; the balance is due 7 days before, paid through the Client Portal.
Is the portrait session separate from the day?
It is, and it’s worth doing. The dress gets a day of its own weeks ahead — City Hall, the Palace of Fine Arts, or a park that means something to your family — and that’s where the invitation images come from. It also takes the pressure off the celebration itself: by the time the day arrives, the portraits are already made and she only has to live it.
How many hours do we need?
Six hours covers the mass and the reception. Nine covers getting ready, the church, the photo stop in between, and the reception through the surprise dance — which is where most families land.
Can you photograph inside the church?
Yes, within whatever the parish allows. I work from the aisles and never from the altar, and I use no flash during the liturgy. I contact the coordinator beforehand to confirm where I may stand and what is permitted, so nothing has to be negotiated in front of your guests.
Do you cover the whole reception, or just the vals?
All of it. The entrance, the crown, the last doll, the waltz with her father, the surprise dance the court rehearsed for two months — and the hour afterwards, when everyone finally relaxes, which is usually where the loosest photographs of the night come from.
Will the family portraits actually get done?
They will, and they’ll be organised. We agree a list in advance — padrinos, godparents, each side of the family, the whole court — and work through it in the twenty minutes after mass, before anyone drifts off.
When do we get the photographs?
A sneak peek within 72 hours and the full gallery in about three weeks, as high-resolution files you can print anywhere.
